IURF Pekanbaru

The Indonesia Urban Resilience Forum gathered over 130 international, national, regional, and city-level decision-makers and development partners. It provided a key platform to understand Indonesia's urban resilience landscape, showcase lessons from various initiatives, identify priority support areas, and explore financing opportunities for cities.

Organised by the Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS in partnership with ADB’s Indonesia Resident Mission, Urban Climate Change Resilience Trust Fund (URTF), and the UK FCDO, the forum focused on replicating and scaling up urban climate resilience efforts. Discussions highlighted effective partnerships and future strategies, with contributions from ADB, Nusantara Capital Authority, UK FCDO, and BAPPENAS, showcasing potential collaborations and investments to boost urban resilience in Indonesia.

IURF Mataram

In addition to serving as a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices in facing various urban challenges in Indonesia, the forum aims to raise awareness and understanding of urban resilience issues, as well as to promote collaboration among various stakeholders in building more resilient and sustainable cities.
