Deputy Director General at AIILSG

Ravi Guru is the Deputy Director General at All India Institute of Local Self Government. He is involved in various funded/grants project in India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Korea and Bangladesh. In India, he manages Equi-City, a project to promote inclusive and sustainable growth of Indian cities through a collaborative multi-stakeholder approach using participatory governance between local authorities and stakeholders. His professional experience is concentrated on climate change, climate resilience & mitigation, policy development, state action plan on climate change, environmental management, sustainable development, CDM, renewable energy and energy management. He also holds office of Executive Director at PRUDA (Planning & Resource on Urban Development Affairs) and Programme Manager at UCLG ASPAC South and South West.
