Kamlesh Kumar Pathak

Kamlesh has over 16 years’ experience in consulting, training and advisory support in managing projects and programmes in low-emission developments, sustainable production and consumption themes, climate resilient investments with focus on manufacturing, energy infrastructure, urban and related cross-sectoral issues. This included leadership positions at multinational climate change advisory groups and as senior technical expert in programme and projects funded through national, bilateral and multilateral funds, including both public and private sectors. He has directly worked with National, Sub-National and Local Government on issues and challenges of SDG priorities. He's extensively involved in concept note and programme design to access climate and sustainable finance for implementation of international commitment governed within international mechanism (SDGs, NDCs) and conventions.

Kamlesh is a certified auditor and assessor based on ISO, GRI, EFQM and Other Internal Performance Standards. His reports and auditing feedbacks been the basis of judgement for level of assurance on sustainability claims of Global Manufacturing & Service Leader (Coca-Cola Global, Adidas, Mohawk).

From 2010- 2018, Kamlesh has managed and provided technical expertise on a diverse portfolio of  projects for development, registration, issuance and transaction for monetisation of carbon credits under UNFCCC regulatory  and other voluntary schemes with focus on Kyoto protocol for investment in eligible mitigation sectors. He has worked on variety of grant, tender and non-profit funded projects, e.g. UKFCO, DFID, UKAID, GIZ, European Union, European Climate Foundation, Oxfam, Misereor foundation, etc. 

He holds competence in design and project management based on low carbon strategies with focus on climate change mitigation through policies and measures within the UNFCCC framework (CDM, PoA, NAMA, NDCs, GCF, BUR) and private sector finance framework. He is contributing as expert in regional groups on Low Emission Development, environmental issues and environmental technology programmes.
