Sagarmoy Phukan

Research Associate at AIILSG

Sagarmoy Phukan is a Research Associate in the All India Institute of Local Self-Government (AIILSG), New Delhi. He holds a master's degree in Climate Science and Policy from TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), New Delhi (2018) and completed his bachelor's degree from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. His research interests are in urban climate resilience, urban heat islands, adaptation and mitigation, air pollution, resources management and polycentric governance. His master’s thesis was on evaluating the needs of climate resilient cities in India. Previously he has also worked as an Environment Impact Assessment consultant.
