 Pangkalpinang is the capital and largest city in the province of Bangka Belitung, Indonesia. Located on the east coast of Bangka Island.

In the 2010 census, it was estimated that Pangkalpinang spanned over an area of 118,41 square kilometers (45,72 square miles) and had a population of 328,167. The population density of the area according to those numbers is around 2,800 per square kilometre.
